1st Pres Women is excited to announce our Women’s Spring Conference, “Singing in the Dark” April 5 - 6! We are thrilled to have Emily Hartman, a counselor, pastor’s wife, and former missionary, speak to us on the topic of finding contentment even when life hurts. Our Good Shepherd promised to give us all we need (Ps 23), but we know what it feels like to live with unsatisfied longings. How do we trust, wait, and hope in the midst of heartache? If we believe God is sovereign, why is it so hard to be content? What does true contentment look like anyway? At this conference, we’ll use gospel tools to help our hearts learn to live freely and lightly in an often dark and heavy world as we look up and see our gentle Shepherd and victorious King, Jesus.
We’ll gather Friday, April 5, 6:30 - 8:00pm (dessert & coffee) and Saturday, April 6, 8:30 - 11:30am (continental breakfast and snacks) for fellowship, teaching, and interaction with Emily. We hope you will join us!!!
