Building Spiritual Reproducers

Building Spiritual Reproducers (Discipleship): Disciple-making is not just a curriculum or program that teaches information, but it is receiving intimate counsel from someone who is mature in Christ. Building Spiritual Reproducers (BSR) is a 4-5-hour workshop (maybe shared weekly) that teaches how to make disciples and casts a vision for disciples making disciples. This workshop is for mature Christians, those who have been discipled** but have not yet discipled another, or those disciple-makers who want a “refresher” on the Great Commission. God has specifically chosen us to be His light so that we might extend His love to His world.

**Recommended pre-requisite would be to be in a life on life discipling relationship one on one.

Square One

Square One is a ministry for first-time mothers and their infants (under 6 months old) meant to encourage and support new moms as they embark on this new phase of life. Square One includes a short scripture/devotional time focused on key areas that relate to their new role as "mom". There is also prayer time and fellowship. Square One meets for 6 weeks (once a week) and the hope is to have one Fall session and one Spring session. Our hope is that Square One would spiritually and mentally encourage and support new mothers in our city so that they can glorify God in their homes and community.

FATHERS Ministry

FATHERS is an acrostic for Fathers Accountable to Healthy Enduring Relationships & Spirituality.

The FATHERS meet each Tuesday from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM from September thru May – we start our meetings with the following Goals:

  • On my honor I will do my best to present myself to God as one approved who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. II Tim 2:15
  • I will love my wife as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her. Eph 5:25
  • I will not provoke my children to anger but will bring them up in the discipline and discipleship of the Lord Jesus Christ. Eph 6:4
  • I will receive the word of God in my heart daily and will teach it diligently to my children and shall talk of it when I sit in my house, when I walk by the way, when I lay down and when I rise. Deut 6:6-7
  • As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15
  • As for me and my fellow fathers, we will consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together and all the more as we see the Day drawing near. Heb 10:24-25
  • I can do all these things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me.  Phil 4:13

In addition, we meet 2-3 times per year for fellowship with our spouses.  We are a group of men of varying ages (25–72) fathers, grandfathers, single and married.  Our focus is on living up to our goals by regularly meeting, studying the word, and creating an environment that allows men to be accountable to one another.

Titus 2 Discipleship Groups

A ministry of intentional discipleship based on the mandate in Titus 2:3-5 of older women teaching younger women to think biblically and live convenantally. An older woman possessing faith and spiritual maturity enters into a nurturing relationship with younger women in order to encourage and equip them to live for God's glory. These groups of about four to six younger women meet periodically with one or two older women.
