Dick Cain
Senior Assistant Pastor
For the past thirty-five years, Dick has served Christ in many varied roles and places. He planted a church in Atlanta and has pastored churches in Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. He has served as a missionary in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He presently serves as the Senior Assistant Pastor for First Presbyterian Church.
He received his undergraduate degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and completed his Masters of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and a doctoral degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC.
He and his wife, Scottie, have been married for thirty-seven years. They have four kids, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and six grandsons. Some of Dick’s hobbies include speaking Spanish, playing the guitar, listening to all types of music, reading missionary biographies, following Tar Heel basketball, and taking friends and family waterskiing.
