Forrest Walker
Director of Vesper Point
Forrest Walker (B.S. Samford University, M.Ed, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga). Born and raised in Chattanooga, Forrest comes to First Presbyterian after a long career as an educator and a school administrator. After graduating from Samford University, Forrest taught for three years at John Carroll Catholic High School in Birmingham, AL and then moved to Chattanooga Christian School where he has served for the past 20 years as a math teacher and as the High School Principal. Forrest also served in various roles at Camp Vesper Point from 1995-2007 where he met his wife Alex. The Walkers are coming from Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church where Forrest served as an Elder and Alex was involved in the music and children's ministry. The Walkers are incredibly excited to minister to campers and staff at CVP. Forrest and Alex have three children: Leighton(11), Ellison(8), and Forrest(6). Forrest enjoys running, softball, collecting music, and Atlanta Braves Baseball.
