Shad Guinn
Director of Community Outreach
A Chattanooga native, Shad joined 1st Pres in the early 2000's through the college ministry. He and his wife Melissa were married at 1st Pres in 2004 and shortly after became volunteers in both the World Mission & Local Mission ministries of the church. In 2012 Shad worked with other Deacons to launch The Rapha Fellowship Ministry at 1st Pres. After a 20-year career in business Shad accepted 1st Pres' newly created role as Director of Community Outreach. Shad holds a degree in Psychology with a Bible minor from Bryan College in Dayton, TN and is an Ambassador for The Chalmer's Center in Lookout Mtn, TN. He and his wife Melissa have two children Jacob and Emily Kate. Shad has a passion for both mercy ministry and the church and longs to see the church in Chattanooga become truly "One", where people of all social-economic and racial backgrounds are worshiping King Jesus with one voice.
