Life looks different in 2021. Here's how we are doing church at 1st Pres during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

A Word from the Covid-19 Commission

While some smaller, limited groups are beginning to get permission to start up, others aren’t quite there yet under our protocols. Please be patient, supportive, and compliant, giving grace when disagreeing. Our goals are to support all the ministries, keep members safe and healthy, and help curb the spread of the virus. Please check back regularly to stay up-to-date on all that First Pres has to offer!

Quick overview of COVID-Related Info

Starting March 7, 2021

Restarting the 9am Outdoor Worship Service

We are excited to start offering an Outdoor Worship Service* at 9am in addition to the 11am Worship Service in the Sanctuary. It was such a blessing to see even more members of all ages in our congregation be able return to worship in person at First Pres! The 9am Worship Service will be led by a worship team singing traditional hymns set to newer tunes and more recently composed hymns.
*In the event of inclement weather, the 9am Worship Service will be moved into the Sanctuary. We ask that everyone continue to wear masks and practice social distancing at this time as a way to love and care for the vulnerable.

Children’s Church at Both the 9am and 11am Worship Services

We will begin offering Children’s Church for PreK-1st grade kids during both the 9am and 11am Worship Services. At Children’s Church kids will become familiar with what happens in corporate worship and enjoy fellowship with one another through a short Bible lesson, activities, games, and crafts.
Please pre-register for Children’s Church (see Kids’ Ministry Weekly Update). We reserve space each week for “walk-ins” so visitors are always welcome. We ask that adult staff as well as children wear masks.

We will be offering in person Youth Sunday School from 10-10:45am in the Student Center. Please pre-register and check in at the table before entering.
