Music Ministry Vision

"Vessels of True Worship Reflecting the Redemptive Love of Jesus Christ"

Music Ministry Mission

By God’s grace, to exalt the Lord and cultivate open hearts to receive the seed of the Word of God and to grow in the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ:

• The Music Ministry’s focus for worship is that all the music elements so well intertwine with the liturgy and the sermon that people do not think about them as different parts but as one worship service.

• All the music is both text and Word driven through differing styles: Choral anthems, original guitar/vocal led compositions and worship music incorporating children, handbells and a variety of instruments.

Many of our members use their gifts and talents in music to aid in our corporate worship. Some of our members even write original arrangements for use by the congregation. One of our musicians, Eric Parker, has started a new blog called A Year of Hymns in which he is rearranging one classic hymn per month. Eric is partnering with our Director of Music, Kelly Stultz, to utilize many of these songs in our worship services. Each month, Eric will write about the author of the original hymn, the background of the song, and the doctrines proclaimed by the text. You can download the MP3 of each new song FREE every month. If you would like to follow this project throughout the year, just click on the link below and subscribe to the blog.
